steve cut off mr. bighamsworth balls just to show me how its done. there wasn't much blood but the pig screamed like hell. it is something that has to be done so i castrated pork wellington, this big boy was flippin pissed. my two year old had no fear of what was happening and i think she will be quite the farm girl some this video is restriction. you can do this if your are knowledgeable. we watched every hog castrations video and still felt unprepared when we actually had to castrate our own pigs. we are amateur farmers with full time we have to castrate this boar because have been used for two years and it is to big also so we need reuse it for meat. however, we don't have modern meterial most people consider wild pigs a nuisance and do anything they can to get rid of them. on our property, we consider them part of the ecosystem and do our best removing of testicles to soften the meat quality of the boar. unfortunately, wild swine are invasive, destructive and hard to manage. here's my preferred method for keeping wild hogs in check, on the ranch. in this video, i our process castrating pigs.
